Watching local Los Angeles news, and they say farm workers are afraid to go to work. A Gov. speaker says those jobs should go to American workers. I want to know where they are going to find U.S. citizens to work 10-12 hours bent over in the sun 6 days a week. For low wages. I did it for two weeks.

I do love being home. 1300+ LPs to choose from. Yes, it is excessive. Worth every meal I gave up.

Moving on to women singing the Blues. Whiskey is involved.

Went for a little 5 km walk this morning. Listened to Bruce Springsteen's " Born in the USA'. That shit gets you moving. It is time for more great songs to keep the mood up. Bonnie Raitt, "Nick of Time". The blues work for me most of the time. Straight R & R. Well, it helps me be back in the USA.

We saw Odyssey this afternoon.

Having had to notify families of the loss of a son or daughter more times than I wanted, 18 is far too many for a Skirmish. It was not something that I gave to the sergeant. They were my people. They were MY responsibility. Semper Fi.
