While I don’t doubt that the contractors were incompetent (stupid Trump’s stupid buddies, after all), I suspect they are being made the fall guy, and that the damage was in fact caused by stupid Trump stupidly driving his entire motorcade of two-and-a-half-ton cars across the surface of the pool.
