I got to experience my first Unknown event at Gen Con today. Ton of fun despite the rescheduling/relocation nonsense. Traded a few of my playtest cards with a collector for a Mind Stone too, which was pretty cool.

My NES is older than I am and it still works just fine. With how well I take care of my stuff, it'll likely work fine after I'm dead too. My Zelda cart has its original battery and the saves are still there from decades ago.

I should feel so bad for the player to my right. Not only did they feed me every piece of daisangen, the match ended with the player to the left of me draining what little bit they had left with tsumo kokushi musou lol (I still won tho 🀄)

To the lady who checked out a full $250 cart of groceries in the goddamn express self-checkout at the busiest time of day on a fucking Friday: everyone behind you disliked that. Fuck off. Cashiers exist for a reason and they're way faster than you.

I have long said that if I ever became a billionaire, no I wouldn't, because it would be given to those in need. A million dollars would give me and my family a secure future. A billion could give many a secure future. It really is a hard choice. Do I choose me and mine, or chance it for many?
