Probably not gonna get to England to see her club at home this season so we drove to North Jersey to see Leeds play a shitty preseason match. And boy o boy was it shitty. A good reminder that football, while at times beautiful, isn't entertainment, it's suffering. As it should be.

2x Stanchion Magazine alum Anne Baldo just stopped me dead in my tracks on page 71 of her new novel: "If what we wanted could be reduced to easy math, like fractions, there would so rarely ever be a whole." I'm gonna need a moment.

My book was spotted on display at Pillow Cat Books in the East Village in NYC! They have a bookstore cat, too! Never gets old seeing this out in the wild 😻

Vagaries is a great word. Would make a cool lit mag name, too.

It truly never gets old seeing your book faced out in a bookstore. Especially when there's a 'book talker' beneath it. 😻

I guess one way to look at it is that in 6+ years, during a time in which "print is dead" & literally no one is reading books, I'll have managed to publish 55 books & lit mag issues, all written & designed by humans, all who were paid, and sold over 10,000 copies in total. That's pretty rad 😊

Holy shit, one of M. Kelleher's dream blurbers for her book Super Shorts: Toxic Ruminations just said yes hours after I sent the hopeful request! She's going to be so so so very happy! Which is what I aim for :)

That time I was in Rotterdam and saw a guy wearing my jersey...if I was a Brazilian footballer playing for Feyenoord.
