And it would also be SUCH a good subversion of expectations with angel who was TRYING to not getting redeemed while husk was like almost actively working against it..

And by the time Angel is ready to come back, poof husk is up in heaven with pen and PISSED LOL. Could also be such a funny bit for both Cherri and Angel lamenting about their heavenly bfs 😂

bc the only way for him to ACTUALLY be there for Angel is to be more patient and unconditionally supportive than he has ever been. I think love in a bottle could be a little nod to husk deciding to get sober which could snowball into realizing he has to be the best version of himself FOR Angel

Ughhhh this just made me think of huskerdust having a heart to heart about Valangel origin story (after the initial crash out obviously lol). But also this is why I feel like husk has a chance at redemption this season -

A huge part will be him having to confront how different their relationships with their overlords are and I think it will be a hard pill to swallow… 2/2

I’m so pumped to see what he does bc there are just so many ways he can react. I feel like he’ll wallow a bit at first then maybe get overly optimistic and try to play hero and “save” Angel from Val only to get shot down, with Angel saying he loves Val or something mind boggling to husk. 1/2

I am soooo excited to see his regression next season 🤤 I really maintain that he has gotta hit TRUE rock bottom to grow bc before his rock bottoms didn’t involve people he cared about (except arguably Val but that’s a very different situation)

it’ll be a very tight balancing act bc I definitely think husk needs to make it clear to Angel that he won’t give up on him while at the same time respecting his agency. Also I’m always reminded how mean he can be when I watch this ep, like a single look from Val has him screaming at Charlie.

I can also see husk thinking back to this rhetoric and using it as an excuse to stalk Angel lol. Like he’s not MAKING him come back he’s just checking in…. And Angel would be so pissed 😂

Bc I don’t think Angel will go back on his own this time and while Charlie and Cherri mean well when they say this, I do think part of angels arc needs to be allowing his friends to be there for him which means letting them in even during the bad times.
