The cucumbers, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and zucchini have all played out. But we're still getting peppers and okra, along with tomatoes from the garden. Replanted fall green beans last weekend, so they'll be coming up this week. #gardening #midTN #okra #bellpeppers #jalapenos

I don't understand how she gets anyone's vote. She's a cardboard cutout of a candidate, unable (unwilling) to answer to her constituents for any of her votes. She's terrified of town halls, interviews, debates, because she can't justify her positions.

In a few months, Tennessee will elect the most embarrassing governor in America. The good news? That means we'll no longer have the most embarrassing Senator in Congress! That distinction will fall to Tommy Tuberville of AlafuckingBama. Marsha Blackburn leaving Congress will raise its IQ...

There are exceptions, but that's basically fact. Toss in hand-me-down racism and the sad fact that most homeschooled kids don't spend any time at all outside their own racial clique, whereas public schools put young people together in classrooms.

More likely it's the lack of empathy that's rampant in the right wing. If you ask yourself what's the one word that best sums up modern conservatism, it's the word "selfish". The frat-bro mentality of bullies rules the right, so totalitarianism fits the profile.

Our local library will have a dozen people milling about outside with shopping carts, backpacks, rolled up sleeping bags, anxiously awaiting the opening. It points to the real problem: there are no public restrooms available for the homeless. No place to clean up, much less bathe. How do we fix?
