This game fucking whips. A hilarious and heartfelt romp through J-horror, and one that proves you can still make something neat using almost nothing but pre-built store assets. The next time you see someone complaining about an “asset flip” game, you show them this and tell them to stuff it.

Played it on PC a year or two ago. It is an absolute delight, and a top-tier example of how you can still make something special if you’re using pre-built store assets for literally everything (95% of the credits at the end are for each asset used)

He had Alzheimer’s and cancer, a horrific combination that meant treating the cancer had a high chance of obliterating every last one of his memories. And he’d already forgotten so much. But in spite of all that, he still remembered us as his granddaughter when we saw him.

He was sick, but we thought we had more time than this…maybe weeks, maybe even a few months. But no, he’s just gone. He’s just gone. At least we got to see him one last time a few weeks ago. At least we can hold onto that.
