Banging on the door of a shop before opening time only ensures that aforementioned opening time is so strictly adhered to that you would not believe it.

Film you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel, Disney, or Ghibli.
So this week one of my players ran her second Call of Cthulhu session - and yet again, she did a wonderful job! Brilliant characters (especially the punchable ones), she wholly improvised a session of hypnosis, and I got to call a vicar a callous ghoul. 10/10 can't wait for more :)
PaulAnd she did BRILLIANTLY! Made it look effortless. I can’t wait to see what happens next week :)
This Friday is brought to you by The Sisters of Mercy - The Reptile House EP (1983) youtu.be/7mgy0bhaPrc?...
...and I've rattled through book 2 in no time at all. I like how the supernatural is handled 👍 I'm moving straight on to book 3, The Hangman's Song too. Will likely take a break after that, but it's going to be good to have a (new to me) well-established series I can pick up when I need to.
PaulI don’t generally read crime fiction, but I thought this was pretty good. Toe-curlingly grim in places, mind. The supernatural elements that have had some reviews a-raging, of course, put it right up my street. Have started book 2. That’s a good sign.

PaulI was talking books to an older lady who came into the shop last week, and she said that she and her husband liked James Oswald books - 'they're detective novels - with a hint of the occult!' she said vaguely spookily 😀 Thought I'd investigate - so this week's read is Natural Causes by James Oswald
Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn’t Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, or Alice In Chains.

So, after a bit of research today, I've got a copy of Aegean on its way to me. :) we-evolve.co.uk/games/aegean
Well, I thought that was pretty damn good. Rest of family did, too. Now, about getting myself a new Greek myth RPG... 🙂

PaulOdyssey time!
You suddenly get a narrator describing your life and there’s no way to turn it off - everyone can hear it. While shopping, at work, at home, with friends - the voice narrating your every move goes on. Who do you hope is the voice of this narrator?
Tammi, yeah, that one. 2.1
