This was, is, and always will be a brilliantly shit illustration of how stupidly self defeating business people can be. Forgoing the universal positive of a staff self-training on their own time, because of the vague fear that one in a hundred might make some money.

I think videogames will eventually hold a very specific niche in the study of history, and that should be understood, celebrated, and preserved. Hell, GTA4 is already a time capsule to a bygone time full of blackberry phones and hybrid fast food restaurants. Imagine how important that’ll be in 2030.
