What's your point? Where's the 'gotcha' here? Mamdani's policies are fairly standard in parts of Europe. Sadly, Miller's views are 'standard' in some parts of Europe. Mamdani isn't advocating for camps. Miller is. And lots of people/politicians seem ready to go along with Miller.

I have and it was certainly something to witness. People really resonated with his message, as they did with Sanders. Hell, a lot of the stuff he pitched is now considered mainstream opinion. Aside from the other factors, the main problem was the messenger. It usually is.

I will certainly grant you that the perception issue is an ongoing issue for Democrats - really, anyone who isn't a Republican - and it frustrates me that there's rarely any pushback. Doubly so when 'the centre' tries to woo right-wing votes and still loses.

Oh trust me, I know all about it and I am embarrassed and disgusted by it. And that's happening under 'centrist' politicians which makes it worse.

You criticise and block people for saying that America is facing a fascist takeover of the government, saying that people are being overly dramatic and splitting hairs over linguistics, but anyone left of Bush is advocating Stanlinism? That's a hell of a leap in logic.

Saying that people will choose Stephen Miller over Zohran Mamdani because the latter is advocating for policies that would be considered almost boringly normal in Europe while the other wants all immigrants in camps or out of the country says a lot about your view of socialism, fascism, and the US

I mean, aside from the fact that no one is saying that and Democratic Socialism isn't remotely the same thing as Stalinism... ...It sounds like you're just making excuses for people who are happy (or at least willing) to support fascism over literally anything else.
