As Doc Brown said, he was an actor, Jesus fucking christ, the party obsessed over the book 1984 has elected three presidents that largely just coast on daddy/TV coattails. Literally only one GOP president in the last 50 yrs did anything of worth (fighting in WWII) and he served 1 term. ONE.

It is astounding and confounding to learn in my 30s and now 40s that Democrats took the Reagan victories as a sign to just suck hard shit. Concede everywhere on social issues trusting that any supreme court justice appointment will fix it, and also agreeing to slowly erode their most successful wins
