As long as we continue to observe the myth that taxing long term capital gains (LTCG) at the same higher rates as ordinary income (wages, interest, rents, etc.) would stymie growth, the rich will continue to get richer and working stiffs will continue pay much higher rates of income tax.

When I heard of Graham’s passing, a quote (that we all know) from ‘The End’ by the Beatles immediately came to mind: “…and in the end, the love we take is equal to the love we make.” In other words, supporting an amoral despot has consequences for one’s legacy.

Trump’s boasting about his grift is his own particular brand of narcissism (even if it implicates him crimes). He considers his newfound mega-wealth a reflection of his brilliance and strength.

Alito really needs to be disbarred after his sycophantic recitation of trump’s assertion that counting mail in votes after election day leads to fraud. It has been proven time & again that there amount of fraud in our elections is infinitesimal despite counting mail in votes counted post election.

I assume that “prefer” is intentional understatement and agree with your sentiment. I would prefer greatly & bigly that we take back our democracy & our Constitution, despite repeated attempts by SCOTUS & others to reduce our Constitution to meaningless aspirations.
