I assume so, and - I might just be reflecting what I've been reading recently - but maybe the reputational impact of admitting to those control failures is minimal or negligible? ( I *assume* those organisations are making smart informed PR decisions, and not just YOLOing their way through it. )

Trying to put personal preferences to one side, Starlink feels - not based on any research - fragile? Just instinctively like the organisation might completely change its model, or become unviable, in a few hours with no notice?

If you don't mind sharing on here, which ISP are you trying? I wonder if a mobile operator would be better, or get someone like AAISP involved?
