I don't get what it is about Donkey Kong Bananza. I have this vivid nostalgia for the game already despite it only being one year ago when I played it. It feels like I played it decades ago it's such a strange but good feeling. I do think it might be one of my favorite games of all time now

Valve could probably take a loss on every Steam Frame sold and the price would be so outrageous still that people would complain and say they were being greedy lol I really feel like that's why they haven't announced the price yet. It's so sad this ram and SSD stuff had to happen

This streamer on twitch only ever comes back to stream when he 'needs money' for rent for college because he says he can't afford it otherwise. Yet the guy has TWO really high quality 3d vtuber models lol. Those things can cost up to $800 or $1k for the really expensive ones

everything feels like its technologically stagnating. there was such a massive improvement year over year for decades and then it just kind of came to a stop at the end of the 2010s.

Been playing Witchfire and it's actually amazing and surprisingly addictive. It's hard to explain what it is exactly but holy shit the gunplay is so fun. You go into these big biomes and extract resources where you can build new guns and items for your character and upgrade them.

What Microsoft did to id software and their other studios and employees will follow the xbox brand for decades. At least until the brand expires or is sold off which my theory is that they're trimming all the fat to sell it off to someone else. MS does not want to deal with Xbox or gaming anymore

You're better off building your own PC instead of buying a Steam Machine. Seriously fuck these AI companies for ruining the PC gaming market. PC gaming isn't dead because prices used to be a lot more expensive decades ago but it's definitely not as easy for people to get into for cheap anymore

My dumb ass really thought Nintendo was going to stop selling $80 games. Yes at least Fire Emblem is $70 digital but it's insane the amount of cope Nintendo fanboys have by saying 'well Walmart price matches it physical for $70!!' as if that somehow makes it okay.

I like how quickly Riot Games gave up on 2XKO. They didn't even wait until Evo 2026 in Vegas. Like the game has the 3rd highest attendee registrations for Evo this year and a lot of times these tournaments bring in tons of new players

i actually think people are spoiled with the price of video games today. DS games used to be $40 a pop and many did not provide the value a lot of indie games you can get on Steam together that are all usually way cheaper than $40 and that's not even taking inflation in. DS games would be $60 today

If Machinegames gets shut down then it was politically motivated. The Indiana Jones game not only reviewed well but it sold insanely well and just came out. They *should* be safe from layoffs or closure.
