Blaming foreigners or outsiders for socioeconomic problems has been happening for centuries. In the middle ages it was common for Sovereigns to blame Jews or foreigners for a bad harvest and/or poor economic conditions. Today idiot Australians are now doing the same: they call it migration.

I had a civil conversation with two men today at a railway station who, with pamphlets, were promoting Mohammed and the Muslim religion. In talking to them what I found interesting is how much in common Pauline Hanson had with them: opposing gay rights, abortion and strict views about divorce.
