well apparently my anxiety was even more triggered by all this than I thought because I pretty much immediately started crying in my appointment???

I have therapy tomorrow (downtown, where the fires are not) and I am just like…should I actually go?? doesn’t it seem like. gross of me to just be going around when evacuations are still happening all over and streets should be kept clear???

I am confused has to how they can say they've stopped the forward progress of a fire but still say it's 0% contained... also I fear the apparent wind direction shifts we're supposed to get which might make things go the opposite way of what they were :( idk I hate this!!!! I should be in vancouver!!

btw I only fell asleep at like 6:30 am lolol it was great!! and then instead of snow, I dreamt about my first cat, Nosey???

how I slept lolol anyway, somehow nothing has changed for my situation. still right next to evacuation spots but not in one yet. still refreshing the map way too often.

I wasn’t gonna turn my ac on constant while sleeping bc it’s not that hot out and also smoke worries BUT someone’s car alarm keeps going off!!!! so now I have to drown out the noise!!! this is also extra weird for the lack of car-driving-sounds

it's heading towards 4 am so I guess I should try to get some sleep instead of refreshing evacuation maps every few minutes :/ ...wish me luck in sleeping in a mask, too. sigh.

it's been really weird most of the day with barely any cars going down the street next to me. ...and yet now it sounds like someone is mowing the lawn??? at 2:30 am AND in between wildfires???

can't wait to try to sleep with a face mask on because I can't stop coughing and near-hyperventilating!! it's super cool how my parents are acting like nothing is happening and like I'm a drama queen for having bad lungs! yaaay!!
