The biggest population center of KY4 is basically a suburb of Cincinnati, where people are way more tied to Ohio politics than Kentucky's. And I found all sorts of people in Kentucky who hated Massie, but very few of them could actually vote for him.

Reminds me of the Harvard Law prof who helped the tobacco industry fight off lawsuits with his law review articles claiming that smoking actually lowered health care costs because smokers died younger.
