Rough?! That’s gorgeous!

Oooh! That's a great way to describe it. I went and saw it in the theatre to put money where my mouth is (support new, indie etc). Was surprised by how much I liked it.

This entire thread made me laugh. Markiplier aside, I really liked the movie. I liked that it was slow. I liked that it was weird, that nothing was resolved, that you had to pay attention, that you have to think for yourself.

The irony there is that we have these names and recorded events, but often no idea what happened that made them worthy of being so noted… The point is, lists of three have a very long history. AI can fuck right off. 3 has always been very human.

And then there are the Welsh Triads: collections of the notable things from pre-Saxon British history or legend clustered together as a kind of nemonic device: The 3 Unfortunate Counsels of Britain The 3 Female Champions of Britain 3 Fettered War-Bands of Britain
