The Green figure is interesting. The Greens started off campaigning strongly and threw lots of money at the campaign in the first couple of weeks. I don't know if the reversal is due to the party backing off or Zack's media troubles. Probably both.

Devolving more income tax, business rates and civil servants to mayors (and areas without mayors) is great - a really positive step forward. But mayors need to have scrutiny over what they do. Outside London, there's no good mechanism to do that at the moment. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
