I could be mistaken, I haven't seen ALL of his films, but I think he suffers from a fairly common problem: he doesn't seem to know how to write a film that a woman will enjoy in an uncomplicated and easygoing way. He has no sense for that, at all.

My life has changed a lot in recent months in that my girlfriend and her family, all of whom I have gotten to know quite well quite fast, live at the epicenter of Hollywood acting and directing. So daily now I get Good & Expert opinions about film. And yes, the love story left her cold. As for me:

This is a great call out in part because “disabled people suffer” is the thing RFK likes most about the present state of global health, and it’s the problem he’s trying hardest to worsen. I should have led with it. Meaningful oversight.

It is occurring to me only now that GTAVI might retain Vice City Public Radio and bring back Maurice Chavez to host Pressing Issues. I can't get my hopes up, but damn, a not insignificant part of my soul just lit up like a firework. Man oh man, would that special.

I think GTAV probably has the best selection, but their best, period, was in Vice City with VCPR: Pressing Issues with Maurice Chavez. I was 12 - 14 when I played that game and it actually blew my damn little mind. It's frankly part of the reason I can post. Desperate for it to come back in VI.
