MiSTer isn’t **better** or **more accurate** than, say, ares or Mesen, but at least it is open-source and available either DIY or prebuilt through various suppliers, plus custom products like the SuperStation One and MiSTer MultiSystem have been built around the concept so it’s a reasonable choice
