my hottest larp take: if your system allows non human characters, but only allows them under extremely specific/niche/unatainable for everyone circumstances, then your system does not allow non human characters

i regret to inform the palworld haters, but it's genuinely everything i want in a multiplayer creature collector survival craft game (i love you conan and ark, but i have to pick which one of you i have installed which means its pointless running dedicated servers for those anymore)
