Good win for Arsenal to kickoff preseason. Dowman man of the match. He basically created that first goal himself. However, he needs to stay on his feet. No idea why Kepa is still here but he made one good save. Poor positioning for their goal though. They didn’t actually test him in that goal.

I’ve seen White-Saka linkup now I’m witnessing White-Dowman. Do not deprive me of this in 26/27. It’s going to heal me in many ways. How strong of a glue do we need to stop Ben White from falling apart with injuries?

Most managers could learn a thing or two from this World Cup. In knockout competitions, you have to have quality on the ball not just keep it. That involves being brave and not making a thousand meaningless passes. Sitting deep when you’re on top is more likely to cost you than attacking.
