Last years strange and terrible wunder had a stella performance from: The Three Ravens James Mayhew painting the shuck story to music The strange and terrible wunder shuck story. This years offering was very different and didn't relate to shuck (outside of the shuck story)

I really do not do well with performance art and this evenings strange and terrible wunder event had too much of it and it went on for too long. Especially the length of time wailing and added conch shell. Messaging understood, and respect to performers...but just not for me.

I didn't think Id ever have to say this: PLEASE DO NOT OVER BLOW YOUR CONCH SHELL. A conch shell is effective in small doses.

Sadly this years parade suffered from disorganisation and didn't have as much feeling as last years (they switched the venue from the big field to smaller places) so ended disappointingly. Nice atmosphere though!

Met this ceramic artist called Polly Fern! Shes made herself a black shuck and memento mori tiles in her fire place but had some wonderful shuck stuff!

Debating now whether those who achieved summoning the Devil at the Druids stone all have big eyebrows

Did not have fixing my rooms curtain rail on my list for today, but here we are.

I need to watch this film just to see how the eyebrows transform. Also, I think it would be a deal breaker for me if getting touched by the devIl enlarged my eyebrows. Like, No. I do have boundaries.

Scarred for life was fascinating, by really exposed my lack of watching 70's folk horror movies. I want to see Blood on Satans Claw to see people who have been touched by the Devil get Big Eyebrows I have not seen either: Witchfinder General, Pendas Fen or Robin redbreast

managed to ask @scarredforlife.bsky.social about the train ghost information film I remember seeing..they haven't seen it either so will hunt some more!
