it’s so refreshing to read somebody using it to help give medication, too. it’s work, but at the end of the day it’s so much less stressful and exhausting for everyone involved lol. it’s why I did it with my bird, it helped if she offered her nails for trimming!

oh yes for sure! I have… a variety of words for the dogs 😅 (“yes” to handfeed, “nice” if I’m throwing food to chase, “chomp” if it’s to play w/ a toy etc) I love the idea of giving them each their own designated word too. Nala (the cat) has her own words otherwise she’d be stealing from the dogs 😂

oh that’s awesome !! I use it with our cat and I did with our late bird. I use verbal markers with the dogs bc it’s easier for my gf but works just as well. I get excited seeing it for animals other than dogs tho, so many people don’t consider it otherwise !

OH and meant to say I was PSYCHED to see correct use of clicker training! maybe it’s because I come from an animal industry background, but I’m so used to seeing incorrect uses that I got so giddy even seeing it in the tags 💀 and love that you’ve used it with your cat too !
