I'm pretty sure Eiichiro Oda wasn't thinking about sketch cards when he came up with Gear 5. The best part of this commission was getting to let that cloud hair spill across both cards.

Wrapped up this two-card Skeletor commission. After messing around with some rough sketch card ideas earlier this week, I couldn't stop thinking about that skull staff. It just felt like it needed its own card, so that's what I did. Super fun set. Definitely won't be my last Skeletor. 💀

Goin' full 90s on this Sabretooth commissh for my buddy Jared.

This is the part I probably nerd out over the most. Distress Ink first, Copics to find the forms, acrylic paint pen to punch the highlights, then colored pencil to dirty it back up. It's all about stacking layers until it starts feeling alive.
