my toxic trait is that i think so much popular modern metal is unlistenable. arhythmic riffing with triggered kicks underneath > airy/quiet verse where a reject 00s boy band vocalist wails all soulful > maybe some harsh vocals in a prechorus > half time chorus with power chords > repeat FOREVER

i haven't even played it but the way some people talk about AI in Clair Obscur is really wild to me. they used it once back when the technology very first came about then never again but that makes the whole thing AI slop... feels a little extreme lol
