Serious question. Why does this require an after the fact study? Isn't this exactly what you would expect?

Trump is a professional grifter. He believes his words can create the reality he wants. To be fair, it has worked amazingly well for him.

A solid third of people are jerks. They always were and they always will be. At best, we can limit the damage they do. The target audience is the mushy middle. They don't care about any of this. We just have to convince them that the jerks are bad for them. Which has the advantage of being true.

I would take a slightly different view. The founders, for their many faults, were VERY aware of the probem of a tyrany. The tools are there. Rusty, stuck in the back of an ignored garden shed, but they exist. We just need to pull them out and remember how to use them.

Trump has demonstrated that you can say stuff that is obviously not true and the majority of the GOP base will eat it up. The Republican Party has become the anti-reality party. How long can that last???

Large language models (the AI in question) are 'educated guess' machines. They have always made mistakes, they always will. It is an innate part of how they work. Yet, they are being promoted as tools to answer factual questions. That is simply fraud.

Are any words self defining? I don't think 'jurisdiction' is especially poorly understood. Yes, the majority opinion contains quite a lot of history, like most (all?) Supreme Court opinions. Again, I think you are using a different definition of originalism than I am familiar with.

Are you claiming the majority opinion is 'originalist'??? If so I suspect we are using different definitions of the term. Most people would describe Roberts as a 'textualist' at least in theory. That is why his opinions are somewhat less radical.
