Sure, a bigoted billionaire whose goal is to end a group's human rights bullied a human rights organization, but people complained about some dork TV host Ben Kennnings or whatever on a niche blogging site, so clearly there are extremes on both sides.

For the last bunch of years, I've been unable to enjoy movies during the summer because the hum of air conditioning or a fan are too distracting. So usually when I have the urge watch something, I just ponder my piles and daydream about enjoying something, or compile lists for themes or marathons.

It's always the fantasy grievances and none of reality's horrors. Good grief. Havana Syndrome has run amok!

Finding it difficult to describe getting through the day.

Damn, the AI companies destroying books to steal the books for their bullshit is really bumming me out. Various other actions and levels to their horrors, of course, I'm just stuck on it.

The thing about The Odyssey is that I haven't seen it. The other thing is that I haven't liked any Nolan movie, but if The Odyssey has made the worst people ever upset, then that's nice, at least.

A Matchbox cars movie? Another Ghost Rider? Is there some kind of weird old baby from the 80s in charge of movies?

Oh, a hundred days until Halloween?

This stuff is infuriating. It's posts/reposts of yapping about defending all the parts of the housing industry and its pursuit of profits while trying to pose as caring about people. They're saying the profits of landlords/construction companies are more important than sheltering people.

It's funny with this and Mike Johnson saying, "We're doing crimes and the Dems can get in and stop us from doing crimes," they're so explicit about what they're doing and how to stop it, but actual Dems are like, "We don't want to stop our esteemed colleagues from doing their crimes."

I don't think we need to see screenshots of what every illiterate bigot is saying on twitter. Large part of the reason to be here is to not be there.

I've been seeing various posts of growing Halloween hype, and I'm torn. As a Halloween enthusiast, it's nice. But I also still have to survive two months of hot-ass weather, so it's tough to be reminded of something good that's so far off.

1/3) Whenever Marvel's brought up, I think of the famous action scene in an elevator from Captain America 2. But no one mentions that it ends with Captain America jumping out of the building, falling to the ground, and just walking away. A supposed peak punctuated by absolute unintended silliness.

To beat the heat with distraction this summer, I've been digging through CDs I've been collecting for a way while now. It's been a delightful journey. Got a lil discman...it's also got a radio...did you know there are still radio stations? Anyway, discs are great!

Feels like the last bunch of years have been summers of fire disaster, plague, poison air, poison food, etc. Oof.

How it's been feeling lately:

All the talk from old dudes that are supposedly artists is so embarrassing. "I can't hire any actors who aren't white otherwise it's PC." "I can't do the same jokes from 20 years ago." "The technology for art of the future is the one that removes people from the creation of art." Such loser shit.
