I’ve been playing Need for Speed High Stakes a lot this week (PS1, Mister) and it’s harder than I remember. Thankfully there are save states and you can overclock the CPU.

Forza Horizon 6 is very good and the first time it seems at home on PC. It works, it’s stable, and it looks leagues better than the Xbox version.

Finally finished my play through of the Mass Effect remasters, I think the criticisms of the ending were harsh as the decisions you made in previous games wrap up throughout the game but 3 is by far the weakest game here. Anyway, still the strongest trilogy in gaming IMO.

Trying to move my son’s Minecraft worlds from my gamer tag to his but ~$30 later we aren’t any closer. Had to sub to Game Pass Core, 2 Realms accounts, buy Minecraft for iOS, all for the stupid fucking thing to not actually copy the next world over so I have 3 copies of 3 worlds instead of 9

I finished Mass Effect 3 on 360 without the DLC so now on the remaster is the first time playing Citadel and it’s such a bizarre tonal shift. There are some cool parts to it but it would have been better if everyone wasn’t cracking jokes the entire time.

NHL 26 - 94 Edition is a great mod to the Genesis game, updated rosters, 16x9 support (I’m on MiSTer). Beautiful work.

Ace Combat 2 (Namco, 1997, MiSTer PSX core) is still a great game.

Still having a blast revisiting Gran Turismo 2 on Mister with some scanline filters on my OLED.

The group chat is mad that I have executed Wrex in previous play throughs but as you can see today we’re rocking together. #masseffect

Are #PS1 memory cards unreliable in 2026? Both my OG black Sony card (some saves not showing up every time) and my Pocketstation (sometimes no saves show up) are having issues on Mister.

I finished Metroid Zero Mission then spent the evening messing with my Superstation. Started a save in SotN so I could have it for MGS, started a game of that too. Loaded an old Hot Shots Golf save, then spent time figuring out latency (TV wasn’t in game mode). I think it’s all good now.

It finally arrived, I never thought it would, but 14 months later it’s here and beautiful! #ps1 #misterfpga

Oh baby, my Superstation One is expected to arrive Monday, I ordered that on day one January 2025. Got all of my legitimate backups converted to CHD, a pair of official translucent Dual Shock 2s, my OG memory card, a Pocketstation, just about ready! Gotta move my GT2 save over from Duckstation.

I guess I’ll play Mario Kart World (it was $100 off)

I platinum’d both Astro PS5 games but I haven’t got the platinum in the PSVR game, so working on that now. This game is so fun and beautiful and I really wish it wasn’t stuck on PSVR. #playstation

Finally received my Abxylute M4 Bluetooth Magsafe controller that I Kickstarted. Seems good for short sessions, but it is cozy and the phone’s weight makes it top heavy. Dpad is better than the Switch.

Two weeks later I don’t know if this shipped or if DHL lost it.

Every year the Final Fantasy Tactics OST ends up in my Apple Music Replay and this year will be no exception.
