Older ff games abstracting travelling the world by having your little guy trudging across a big map was really beautiful. It really helped imply a lot of the world's scale and gave the games more verisimilitude than the open world approach. ff7 still feels bigger than rebirth

It's incredible. Every time they fuck up in some new way and every time it's when you least expect it. The greatest unintentional comedy in the world.

Yeah, that's pretty much my thoughts about it. There's some interesting thematic stuff in the episodes, but those ideas are also so underbaked that it doesn't come to much in the end.
