*Zuko continues to sit next to Katara* (Mai forces Zuko to sit by her, Aang thinks he finally will) **Zuko's MOM sits next to Katara** this is HEALING me

Reading a really, really, really long fanfic (that was started before the comics even came out) where Zuko, Katara, and the rest find Zuko's mother Ursa And Ursa **refuses** to believe that Katara is in a relationship with Aang and not her son, and I am LIVING for this.

ANOTHER 3500 words down for the Zuko/Katara superfic. Once chapter 5 is done I'll start posting it. So excited!

Realizing in the ATLA finale Zuko repeats the sacrifice of Katara's mom (willing to sacrifice their life for a death meant for them) while Katara repeats the sacrifice of Zuko's mom (setting out to 'deal with' a Fire Lord who wants Zuko dead & not stopping til the Fire Lord is never a threat again)

Had someone slide into my Tumblr asks to light me up during my current Zutara relapse because "it's non canon" And my sibling in the Spirits the person whose BG3 Tav romanced Rolan and main Dragon Age Warden romanced Nathaniel? Whose femshep romanced Miranda? Do I strike ppl as caring about canon?

i know its hard when a moot who you mainly followed for one (or a couple of closely related) fandoms or interests suddenly goes sleeper agent and is suddenly interested in a whole new (to y'all, not to me) bonus thing. but thanks for sticking around through my every-half-decade Avatar relapse.

day 1, 3011 words done on my major zutara fic. a tiny little sneak preview of the first part of chapter 1/prologue When Uncle Iroh is cautious about a cup of tea, you know there's trouble brewing.

i didnt appreciate the comparative sophistication of AO3's design until I went back to FFN for the first time in years to read a story. Even just the ability to view all chapters at once on AO3. I will always appreciate FFN's role but also it desperately needs an update

calling Avatar peeps: about 2500 words into the Zutara superfic now, the prologue/intro chapter, and I know generally where everything from Sozin's Comet onwards is going for a bit. What I WANT though is a SMALL 'something isn't right with time' in the story BEFORE Ozai defeats Aang.

Wrote half a little test one-shot, and I think I know what my issue is going to be before I write The Big Story (or any other one shots, and I don't think I'll publish this one). ...I have to be able to learn to write these two without my IRL disdain for Aang bleeding through and turning him bad.
