Update: he's eating and drinking and slowly walking around the house a bit but mostly sleeping - they sent him home with antibiotics, something for swelling, and gabapentin, the last of which is keeping him SUPER MELLOW. The girls were very curious where he'd been when he got home

He's out of surgery, they sent me a picture of the little goofball (likely high as a kite)

It was not actually that innocuous - they're going to try removing what they can, hopefully get it all, and when we get the full biopsy back we'll talk options

I'm going to assume it's because he'd like to explain the procedure to me face to face rather than over the phone instead of thinking this is a dire portent because that's what's keeping me sane this morning

Badger had his first dose of trazodone last night and he's been mellow all morning - second dose at 7 along with another pill and he's in for surgery at 9 Vet said he'd like to talk to me in person when I get there

Took Badger out for his noon business trip and while we were outside an unknown neighbor in the building across the way bellowed "DONKEY" in their best Shrek voice, then all was silent ...I really do love my apartment complex
