Hmmm. I think you might want to be saying "Get out the Black vote" and not "Get the Black vote out" -- which is what many red states are attempting to do by gerrymandering and kicking POC off the voter rolls. They would love to "get the Black vote out" of their districts.

Shouldn't any American have standing to demand documents and sue Todd Blanche? FOIA. The difference (i.e., reality) is, it's almost impossible to be successful without financial backing, notoriety and a media platform. But they're not legal requirements.

I was referring to the teams themselves, not talent scouts. All the parents kick in a little bit extra so a talented, competitive player with fewer monetary resources can be part of the team. And, of course, the fundraising is endless.

Also, many teams offer scholarships to talented players who can't afford to participate. Not all parents are rich. From what I can tell, teams are constantly fund-raising.

Fully funded public schools and local recreation programs should be providing those opportunities. But people don't want to pay taxes for them. They'd rather shove their $$ into their gas-guzzling SUVs and RVs instead of investing in the community.

The complaint is that offering only a paper option (and not an electronic one) for absentee voting violates the rights of disabled voters. Is it because some disabled voters cannot complete a paper ballot but could complete an electronic one? Or Is something else (strategy-wise) going on here?

Girls' team sports are not about scholarships. They're about empowering girls to succeed under pressure, to strategize in a cooperative framework, & to be celebrated for qualities other than their looks & their sexual availability. Kids on traveling soccer teams usually don't play on school teams. The lack of opportunities in sports, arts, music, theatre and other extra-curricular activities is usually due to a lack of public funding from the tax base. Parent funding therefore makes them inherently unequal.
