In the old version of the story they were fighting for like a year, and in another rewrite I think it was only like a couple months and pepper was stalling to build all the arwings and train enough pilots They were already at war in the nintendo power comic iirc... yeah I'll probably do that

Shit something I totally forgot about my star fox au was if I landed on venom/corneria already being at war by the time fox is contacted by Pepper, or if the war only really starts soon after fox arrives on corneria Idk which works better, it's one of those things that totally slipped my mind lol

I think sf64 was like the first game I ever emulated, it's really nostalgic but weirdly enough I dont really think about it much anymore Idk it might be good to brush myself up on 64 again if I do more shit with the comic I wrote. Like I remember most of it but it still might be good to revisit it

I played a *shit* ton of 64 as a kid, but I stopped around the time I found star fox 1 and 2 iirc... I still consider 1 and 2 to be my favorites, I replay them regularly. 2 was my favorite SF game at the time and it still is Idk if it's obvious that I'm mainly just into the SNES ones but yeah lmao

I should replay star fox 64 soon, I don't think I've given that game a proper playthrough since I was like 13 lmao I replayed it once like 2 years ago, doing only one hard route run and I haven't played it since. But I haven't like gone through *all* the paths in like 8 years, been too long I think
