Feel like an average #Seattle July so far? We're spot-on average for temps and just 0.09" under on rain :O #wawx

Fun fact: Wednesday was the 2nd hottest 'rainy day' in #Seattle history. It reached 95 degrees, then rained 0.05" that evening. The only hotter day with measurable rain was 0.02" that fell on Aug. 11, 2006 when it had reached 96 degrees that day. #wawx

95 is the preliminary high today in #Seattle. It used to be Seattle averaged a 95+ degree day about every other year. Since 2014, Seattle has reached at least 95 every year except two, and both those years' peaks were 94.

93 at 3p in Seattle tying for the hottest day of the year so far with still some heating to go.

Seattle/Sea-Tac at 89 degrees at 1 p.m. which is... +7 degrees ahead of yesterday's 93 degree high pace. 🤔 (No, I don't think we'll hit 100 but 95+ seems doable)

That is some pretty crazy microclimate action going on in the Port Angeles-Sequim MetroPlex

My parents say their spot on the bluff in Port Angeles is the coolest place in the nation. It's possibly literal today. Yes that's 64 degrees outside...

CONGRATS, JULY 21! With 92 degrees in as the preliminary high in #Seattle, you now hold the title of hottest day of the year! Enjoy it, it'll be yours for all of one day... (Hotter tomorrow :P )

We’re up to 0.32" so far in Seattle (still raining). That's now tied for the... 50th-wettest July day in #Seattle history. OK so not as impressive as I would have thought for July 😂 — Seattle has now also dropped to 30th driest July on record (was T-1 at start of the day). That's out of 82 years.

Just that one thunderstorm this morning thru 11 a.m. in #Seattle has dropped July 2026 from a tie for the driest July on record to 22nd driest so far. 😂 More rain on the way today.

Pretty cool chart from my Dad's home on the bluff/water in Port Angeles... you can see how the temp wildly bounces as the weak but cool breeze on on the Strait of Juan de Fuca passes by the backyard. (Yes it's in the low 60s there. Their backyard has to be 1 of the coldest spots in the U.S.) #wawx

You can tell the air is unstable today with all the thunderhead clouds roaming around the region! These two photos of multiple cumulonimbus clouds over Vancouver Island, B.C. were taken by dad from his deck in Port Angeles, looking north. #wawx #wastorm
