I guess, if you’re a fan, you might call it courageous or honest for a politician. But does he have any actual fans right now, beyond partisan Rs who are just rooting for Dem disarray?

When this all started, I thought his strategy was “vote with Dems 85% of the time, appear on Fox News for the rubes, get reelected.” But Fetterman is acting like he’s in Montana or West Virginia in 2022, rather than a purple state in 2026 — which means he’s not just doing a bit.

John Fetterman: “I don't know why your network’s so pro-Hamas.” @premthakker.bsky.social: “I’m asking you about American public opinion, senator.” Watch Senator John Fetterman crash out on our political reporter and label our newsroom as ‘pro-Hamas.’

Uh, yes? It was a terrible look. (Which I enjoyed, since he was playing for a division rival.) Harper also mused that Zimmerman should move to LF. He’s an ass: I think most teammates he’s ever had would agree with this. I drew the line at Papelbon choking him. That crossed a line 😂

I hate hearing players co-GM from the locker room, period. Their needs are not a mystery. Bryce has done this since he was on the Nats. It irked teammates then (Denard Span, for example). And I would guess it irks at least some teammates now.

This comes a day after Bryce said, more or less, “you guys always get on my case when I have a bad month.” Not even a gesture in the direction of clubhouse cliches — “The players in this room need to do a better job. And that starts with me.” No. It’s driving the bus right over teammates.
