I am! In fact, I have a follow up: why have you not shifted your donations to groups working to push the party in the direction you want? In the youth space, for example, Sunrise and MFOL have also struggled to raise money, despite them being quite aligned with your vision.

Malcolm is literally a DNC Vice Chair. And differentiating between a presumptive nominee and an actual nominee *is* being pedantic. No one complained when Sherrod Brown, Mary Peltola, or Roy Cooper were treated as the nominees despite other candidates having filled to run in the primary.

And to, you know, win primaries. Welcome PAC has spent a ton of energy fighting off leftists in primaries (and to tie it back to my original point, they *also* are struggling to raise money).

It truly would behoove you to learn more about how American political parties in America function. You seem to think they can just kick people out as in Europe, they can’t.

The DNC nor state parties have any role in accepting or rejecting candidate fillings. Secretaries of state do so. Parties who have gone to court to try and get someone off their primary ballots typically fail (see Dan Sullivan in Alaska for a similarish situation).

I repeat, folks doing this work have to live in political reality. Without Mills, it was guaranteed that Platner would win that primary. Pretending otherwise is silly.

Telling them out doesn’t actually prevent them from filling and running. There’s no shortage of people telling them off (including, as you pointed out, the former DNC chair), they can file as Democrats regardless.

Let’s not be pedantic here. Parties and operatives need to exist in political realities. From the second Mills dropped out, Platner was the presumptive nominee.

You can think whatever you want about them, god knows the bulk of their membership isn’t my biggest fan. But the point remains — there’s nothing anyone can do to prevent them from running in Dem primaries.

Again, there is no mechanism to prevent people from running in a primary. You’re welcome to go look.

Martin did not endorse Platner in the primary. His endorsement came after Platner became the presumptive nominee. And Schumer and the DSCC spent significant amounts of money supporting Mills. You can easily see it in FEC records.

As I’ve said repeatedly, we didn’t lift a finger to support Platner. Trying to hit me over this is quite silly — most of the time I’m getting attacked for supporting the aforementioned establishment lol

You can look up mentions of Mills in my profile — I talked about her age once. Every other mention is me saying I’d enthusiastically support her if she became the nominee.
