The aircraft was most likely lost in an action over Antwerp, Belgium, where 26 Hawks of GC 1/4 engaged a formation of Do 17s and He 111s, escorted by Bf 109Es. Three Messerschmitts and 3 bombers were claimed in the action, with 5 French aircraft downed. albindenis.free.fr/Site_escadri...
