Legal here too. We're allowed to grow up to 12 plants at a time, but the market is so competitive locally that I can just buy from one of many dispensaries without the setup expense and ongoing hassle. Plus gonna need that square-footage for growing actual lettuce, lol. What a time to be alive! 🤪

I know, right? At this point I'm researching the best way to grow my own salad greens indoors over the colder months with hydroponics or something, and putting in a raised protected garden for fast-growing greens for the whole three months of the year that we can actually grow stuff outdoors here.

Many bagged salads in the US don't contain romaine anymore anyway due to rampant contamination issues in prior years. In fact, the brand of mixed spring greens we usually purchase specifically states "DOES NOT CONTAIN ROMAINE" on the label.

I will not say "search it up," use "truth" in anything other than noun form (e.g., truthed, truthing), or ever, ever use the bullshit look-at-my-external-gonads term "warfighter." I will, conversely, go to my grave trying to make "fetch" happen.

That's the case with a lot of our food: "private labels" for the same product from a single source, whether that source be farm or factory.

Unrelated, but I also find irksome those stupid SCOTUS class pictures they do multiple times a year, with the entire lot of them grinning like fools while the country is burning down. Also, Trump saluting. Never felt that way when other presidents without service did it, but that burns me up.
