LRP im as much of an msq enjoyer as the next guy but almost every anti-story skip argument I see just REEKS of treating "story skipper" as a thought-terminating cliche signaling "oh this is a Bad XIV Fan as opposed to me a Good XIV Fan", as opposed to a demographic behavior with pros and cons.

possible hot take: being more supportive of story skipping is actually fine IF they also use it as license to put more story in the story, have a sidequest prison break, etc. let people do what they want but say "if you skipped, too bad, NG+ if you wanna learn who these people are/what's happening"
