I played through most of Superman 64 (finished what you could on normal difficulty, but you have to play on hard to fight the final boss). I kept thinking "this is the worst game ever? Sure it's clunky, but like so much worse was made before and after it"

I just watched Venom for the first time. Can anyone explain why the second post credits scene is a clip from Spider-verse? I get they're both Sony and Spider-Man, but this is like if Suicide Squad ended with a clip for Lego Batman.

I remember after seeing this in theaters with a film club when they asked what I thought, these jokes were a big reason I gave it a 6/10. I thought we were well past the point of being embarrassed that the film being made has goofy elements?

Masters of the Universe opens with narration by He-Man who stops while explaining that the sword that gives him his power is called the Sword of Power and he goes “(Scoff) Yeah. I know.” This movie should go to fuckin jail.

These jokes were what took me out of the movie when I saw it in theaters. Like this film seemed to want to both embrace the camp of the original series, but was also embarrassed by it.

Weirdly enough Nortman is my favorite Eggers film and the only one I've seen that really clicked with me (I still need to see The Lighthouse, but I've seen the rest).
