Nature’s recovery isn’t beyond us. We know what's needed: stronger protected sites, support for landowners, long-term investment and the political will to match promises with action. Instead, our leaders have chosen to fall short. And nature is paying the price. The UK Government must do better.

Six years of delay. Protected sites are deteriorating. Wildlife is disappearing. Now, the Government hands us a plan that would've been embarrassing six years ago. Today, with fewer than four years left to deliver on 30% of land and sea protected for nature by 2030...it's indefensible.
