This has been hitting women, particularly BIPOC women, in animation pretty hard over the last few years. Animation has historically been a boys club, and we’re rapidly backtracking *and* losing institutional knowledge
Julie DiCaroI am 53 and have been essentially forced into retirement. I thought it was just me, until I found an entire community of women in the same situation on Instagram. So many of us have just been told that we simply have nothing to contribute to society anymore.

You need to be a champion of the art you love, you need to share that passion and joy, and do what you can to support the artists who make it, because it's not enough to hate AI, to hate what it's doing to art and media; you gotta love.
