Folks at my local de-Flock group reminded me today that the art demonstrations I've been organizing do not all have to happen in August, and we want things for year round. I am no longer fretting about finishing 5 giant projects in 2 weeks. Just one. The most fun one.

Jimmy was my "side boo" during my marriage (we were polyamorous), and now that I'm divorced, they said they want to keep being my side boo while my primary relationship is with my art. They just wanna help me self actualize and it's incredible. A+ relationship.

Maybe it's my age or maybe it's the times I'm living in, but I feel completely devoid of shame these days. Why stress about a social flub when there are so many people openly committing genocide without shame? They need this shame more than I do, so I'm packing it up and sending it to them.

Writers, never again worry if your writing is clunky as your villains explain their evil plots openly and brazenly to the people they're hurting. Villains apparently LOVE to tell everyone what they're doing.

I redid all the covers for Magical Women so far. I rushed them the first time, and then I was like why? Making art is my favorite thing. I should savor it. I immensely enjoyed making all of these and they fed my soul. They took much longer, but what else is my time for?

So glad I'm physically able to draw a bit again. I love making Magical Women. I think Rose might be my favorite character I've ever made. I'm really feeling a joy about making comics that I've never felt before.

After I get top surgery someday, I think I might tattoo a campy little anchor on my chest. It'll go great with my curly little mustache. This is the vibe for my 40's. Li'l circus guy.

I started writing a lot of horror stories after my body became one. There is an invisible slasher trying to chop me up and I can't outrun him. I am reassembled by a mad scientist who didn't know what he was doing. Then I am chopped up once more.

I'm glad that disability pride is not incompatible with hating my disability, because mine is a fucking curse that feels like demonic possession. If a medieval peasant witnessed this current flare up, I would be getting an exorcism right now for real.

Spending so much time away from the internet now, it all seems even more surreal than it ever was.

I got this kneeling chair today and I've been sitting on it for fifteen minutes and I feel my back and hips healing like Wolverine. This is the ideal chair. Such bliss.
