Compound this with seasons being "at best" 2 years apart where any sort of interest momentum has been dead and buried. And also for, again at best, 10 episodes? We're back to weekly releases because shows have lost any sense of permanence too. I'm sorry, it's just trash for everyone involved.
Casey ExplosionStreaming services are in a hell of their own design, because they've trained their audiences to never get invested in new shows because they'll just end up getting cancelled. I'm still mad Netflix cancelled that amazing Dark Crystal show, but it teaches you one thing; never get invested.
