Switched to a euro wagon after years driving a half ton pickup truck. The anxiety of not being able to haul dirt or lumber in a moments notice fades in a few days.

I get the argument that roads are built from property tax dollars and benefit a large number of non-yeg residents. I don’t buy there is a direct proportional cost of policing those same # s. I would also like to see some stats on revenues for Edmonton biz and city owned attractions for the same.

I saw this article and thought of BikeBike immediately. Looks like work to ride.

I go out of my way to be friendly on the road bike. Waves, bell, calling out etc. the over-all community benefits from road cyclists not being singled out as aloof dickheads.

I get way less heat when I ride in casual clothes on my non-racey bikes.

If the threshold for petitions for holding a referendum is now 10% perhaps progressives should collect signatures to hold a referendum to remove Daniel Smith from office and ship all the Alberta separatists (traitors) to Montana.
