The plans for a new suburb in Dunsink need to include adequate transport connections from the outset - not decades later. The proposed Luas extension plans would also serve the areas of Tyrrelstown, Hollywoodrath and Mulhuddart, where public transport has not kept up pace with population growth.

At Wednesday’s Oireachtas Committee on Transport, it was confirmed that the National Transport Authority (NTA) will not introduce any new bus services in 2026. Why?

I questioned Minister Seán Canney last week at the Oireachtas Transport Committee about the bizarre decision to disconnect RTI displays from the public lighting network. It was news to him too - I'll be following up with him to get a proper answer on this 🤔
