Fun fact, forks are actually an ass form of suspension, and are out performed by a swing arm at the front because it separates bump absorption and steering. Honda and Elf actually built and raced them, but the inertia of manufacturing and riders not being used to how it felt killed it.
PowflipIt always annoys me that motorcycle development nearly went down the path that would have eventually resulted in real-life Akira motocycles with car-like feet-forward seating, hub center steering, and long wheelbases. The Ner-A-Car was a 1920's premonition of a future that never came.
