Something else I love about SPIDER-NOIR is that somehow everyone on screen, from the leads to the guest stars to the extras, have 1930s face. None of these people look like they have ever seen an iPhone.

You know that thing about how Nicolas Cage's performances are always either Very Good or Awful with no in-between? SPIDER-NOIR is one of the ones where he's Very Good.

Why anyone would choose to watch the jawdroppingly beautiful, period-authentic film noir visuals of this show in colour I cannot begin to comprehend.

Was just looking up stuff on THE RESIDENCE when some peoples' opinions on Reddit popped up, and literally the only negative comments on the show I found can be boiled down to (a) racism; (b) misogyny; (c) both; or (d) fundamentally doesn't understand how a murder mystery works.

Sometimes I say I don't really understand what could actually drive someone to murder, but when my French middle-aged heroin addict white guy neighbour blasts reggae at full blast for hours at at time while I'm trying to focus in here...I get it.

THE RESIDENCE was easily the best, most intricate murder mystery and Christie homage I've ever seen on screen. And thinking on it, I realised why. Because it's 8 eps it has time to pursue all of the strange convoluted red herrings that 90-120 min Christie adaptations have to trim for time. (1/5)

The only thing I really miss about twitter is green circles because I'd love to talk about the gay night I just had without the possibility of being perceived by straight people, because it is not for them. 😌
